I may be missing something - I looked again at the coin and could not see them. I learned one thing at least: I need to pay closer attention to how my images turn out. So I don't know what happened...perhaps some dirt on the lens or dust on the coin...I don't know. Perhaps they are really there and I just do not recognize them? My apologies, anyway, for being such a novice at this! I do appreciate everyone's help and patience with me. Here is a close up photo of the area. Report this Post to the Staff

(Or is that too much trouble?) The biggest issue is the with the fields, there are a lot of spots and some haziness. I deducted for spotting and those apparent scratches on the portrait....that are not there? Suggest you improve your lighting, I cannot see any cartwheel spokes. Since luster is so critical to grade, it's important your light brings it out and viewers can see the cartwheel effect. Lincoln Cent Lover!
