Very nice coin j h s . I am not real familiar with the series ..so I will consult my ANA grading book. There seems to be a little detail left in some of the stars and the ear detail is there. Seems a little weak behind the ear, and the eagles wing opposite it on the reverse is also weak. The way I am reading the ANA guide it seems to straddle the F-VF line, taking into account for weakness of strike near the center I would go VF-20. If I have graded to high , I would love to hear the reasons, always wanting to expand my skills to other series. Nice color and a good looking coin !

I think one reason it cant go VF is because the rim is worn down so much. Nearly all VF require a full rim. The reverse, excepting the rim, is in pretty amazing condition.

Thanks, you all.

The reverse is very nice, I guess from the picture it looks to me like the rim is pretty full. If I were looking for a coin like this, as long as this one does not have bad cleaning scratches (I don't see any) I would probably pay a little more than F money anyway, it seems to be a nice high end example for the grade. If it has cleaning scratches I would be a little more conservative. Greysheet lists it at 70 in F and 90 in VF, not a huge jump...but then the XF jumps to 175. Great looking coin whatever the grade !
