Very cool, you seem to be having much luck finding old coins! That 1920 shilling is especially cool!

HI mrv,
I am so curious. Are there no money-changers in your area? You seem to be getting more than you paid for in exchange value alone. Are people clueless as to foreign coin values? Too lazy? Is there a minimum that an exchange will accept?.....

Hi Bigsilver, Money changers don't accept coins and the notes are mostly withdrawn notes which they will not accept. I've managed to obtain a fair amount of US & Canadian coins, which I will be spending next year when I visit North America, hopefully I can buy a few silver dollars

Money exchange offices don't accept coins and $8 worth in Turkish lira and some outdated Dutch gulden notes won't get you far.
