Fun pickup at NYINC: a 6-mm-thick medal commemorating the launch of La Liberte, one of those tourists-by-day weddings-by-night boats that seem so popular the world over.

Quote:
A wooden ship built on a model dating from 17th century, La Liberte offers romantic cruises on Lake Geneva, departing from Morges for a journey back in time. A unique tourist attraction, La Liberte also tells the story of an important social project.

Linking tokens to history is one of the most fun aspects. Nice that you can connect your token with this information.

Researching a new-to-you medal or token is a win-win, because either:

A) You enjoy stumping the multitude with your obscure rarity, or

B) You enjoy having some idea of what you are talking about, for once.

Not a bad deal, really.

Cheers,
