Indeed a liard with the shield of the duchy of Bouillon, but issued by the prince-bishop of Liege, Maximilian Henry of Bavaria (prince-bishop 1650-1688). At that time the prince-bishops of Liege were only in name dukes of Bouillon. This liard was probably minted in Hasselt, nowadays the capital of the Belgian province of Limburg.
