You stumped me with 39! Belgium 50 francs with the coat of arms of the (then) 9 provinces!

I should have recognised that one earlier!

09 is indeed not an obvious one: Kiau Chau 5 or 10 centimes

I think 04 is a Panama two-and-a-half centesimos.

I think 23 is a German aluminium 200 or 500 Mark piece issued during the hyper-inflation era. I'll go for 200M.

I agree, the Indian Bahawalpur coin was a difficult one and so was the German colony of Kiau Chau (this was a 10-cent piece). But I see the hints have worked

And just to confirm -

bart (1. post): correct
bart (2. post): correct
bart (3. post): correct
NumisRob: correct

Remain (those with hints marked):
02*, 05-07*, 10*, 14*, 18*, 25*, 29*, 36*, 45*, 47-50, 54, 57-60, 62-65, 67-68, 72-74, 76, 79-80, 85-89, 93-96*

Everything correct!
For the record, it was an Argentinian 5 centavos piece, and a Poland (technically not Poland since it only gained independence later that year) 1 fenig.

Here are hints for all the remaining ones:

02 - states (though not the United States)
05 - poor (though usually not the condition)
14 - farmer girl (though not the French one)
29 - President (though there wasn't another one for 10 years after this one)
47 - anniversary (though not a round one)
48 - LEX (though it's not from Rome)
49 - antelope (though you've got to beware of Chinese fakes)
50 - 11 crowns (though that's quite a convoluted hint)
54 - one twentieth of the above (though not of 11)
57 - zinc (though it's not from Peru)
58 - rodent (I wonder whether it's the red or grey one, though)
59 - Cyryllic script (though it's not from Russia or Bulgaria)
60 - Charlotte (though she's not pictured on the coin)
62 - round shield supported by 2 guys (I think they're archers, though I might be wrong)
63 - square (though it's not 1966 yet, so Bahamas are out)
64 - crescent (the date is the only western writing on this coin, though)
65 - flying woman with sword (she has no wings, though)
67 - quarter (not quarter dollar, though still silver at the time)
68 - 1/2 (NGC should really update their image of this common nickel coin, though)
72 - around a dollar (though it varies)
73 - girl (that's an elaborate headdress, though)
74 - 20th anniversary (why are the dates reversed, though)
76 - scallop (no seafood on the coin itself, though)
79 - there's not much to it (UltraRant would have known, though)
80 - if you don't have enough funds for the key date in your album you can buy this (this one won't fit, though)
85 - one hundred (they soon needed much more zeros, though)
86 - 7-sided (still round, though)
87 - JNL on one side and IML on the other (no idea what it means, though)
88 - without or with either of 3 different mintmarks (none of them is a letter though)
89 - flower (mind the thorns, though)
93 - bird (though not the heraldic kind of bird)
95 - flower (according to Wikipedia, a pantropical one, though).
