Hi everyone, especially all Canadian currency collectors! Canadian currency and notes seem to be an area of not a lot of interest. I have not seen any posts on them here for a little while.

Anyway, for some strange reason my interest in Canadian currency seems to have increased dramatically in the last couple of weeks. I have the Charlton Canadian Government Guide (2016) and I find it interesting and helpful. I also see currency listed in ebay for such issuers as the Royal Bank of Canada, the Canadian Bank of Commerce, the Dominion Bank, and others. I presume these notes are similar to US National Banknotes. I do not see those notes listed in my Charlton. In looking for a guide or reference to them I am having no luck. I did do a search in this forum but did not see anything. I also saw a Canadian Currency Forum but it would not allow me to register, and seems pretty dead anyway.

If anyone has any suggestions or links to those kinds of Canadian notes, I would really appreciate it. Thanks and best of luck to everyone.

The most widely used and comprehensive guide for these notes is The Charlton Standard Catalogue Of Canadian Bank Notes.
Available at many dealers and on ebay.

You can probably pick up an older edition for a very reasonable price

Thanks DBM, correct me if I am wrong, but that catalogue does not contain the charted bank notes. I did find the "Canadian Bank Notes 8th Edition by R. J. Graham" which apparently does have information on those bank issued notes. I see a couple of them listed on ebay and it seems to be what I am looking for. I appreciate the help!

Thanks DBM, I assumed the wrong thing. I did locate one on ebay and put a bid in on it. Thanks.
