Hi, earlier I have talked to person on this forum who is interested in finnish coins so we have arranged a trade.

My question is (since I need to fill up form CN22 for declaration). Is there any better way to describe coins on customs declaration form than "money". I'll be sending coins from EU to U.S., value is under 100$ but I was thinking is there a better way to describe my coins to customs declaration form than "money".

"Numismatic item" could be a term to use ..though I've never send anything out of the country myself

I generally put 'Hobby items'. If the total value is less than 50 US dollars, I also put 'No commercial value'.

As for me, I consider coins under the category of collectible, hobby, or miscellaneous items.

Hobby supplies/items sounds about right. Since these coins are
no longer used that would be appropriate term to use.

Back when my Son was in Poland, he sent me coins buried in with other items.

Im from Poland, and I sell a lot on ebay, sending coins to Canada, USA, South America, and I use only bubble envelope.
I never buried coins in other items. There is no need to do it :D
