I have an interesting anomaly here(I don't know whether it's an error(one-off), an overdate die variety or just some die clashing. Has anyone else seen this one? there is part of a 2, 8 or 7 between and below the 1 in the date, and another piece of it in the lower loop of the 8.

I don't believe this is a known Snow variety. Might be a die chip in the loop of the first "8", and perhaps some environmental damage along the rim below "18".

I agree with a die chip in the bottom round of the first 8, perhaps a little corrosion or some debris around the rest of the date, and a squished piece of lint or fiber in the upper loop of the 2.

Enough going on there that I can see why you would ask.

Thanks for the input, guys. I haven't seen this classified as a Snow variety either. Here is a black & white version I enhanced with my photo program. Same shot, but I managed to diminish the effects of the corrosion for a clearer shot of whatever that is. If I've got the only one, it's worthless, but if there are 3 of us, we're rich
