It appears to be a genuine example. This is the S-266c, die state IV (late die state) with Cuds over both RTY obverse and MERI reverse, and of R2 scarcity as such. The coin in the picture has substantial porosity / environmental damage, especially on the reverse, but is still quite desirable and would likely have no trouble finding a buyer. I'd grade it VG8 sharpness net AG3 porosity/corrosion and value it around $750 to $1000.

Highest leaf is below corner of S - on reverse- that is a key diagnostic - but the REAL test cannot be determined from pictures: does the 0 in the date line up with the O in OF on the reverse? That is why I would be cautious unless seller has both excellent feedback and an ironclad return privilege (14-30 days.)
