The Royal Mint - Just 750 Sovereigns will be struck on 6 February to celebrate Her Majesty's Sapphire Jubilee - Sovereigns struck on a specific day are very popular, with previous releases selling out extremely quickly. The striking is authenticated by the hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity that accompanies the 22 carat gold Brilliant Uncirculated coin. The reverse of the coin features Benedetto Pistrucci's St George and the dragon, while the obverse bears the most recent coinage portrait of The Queen by Royal Mint coin designer Jody Clark.
