I am new to collecting pennies. I have a 1970 s penny not sure if large date or small I do see 2 stamps on date and mint mark

to CCF. It is a LD and I think not a DDO, but is MD.But need better close up pics. Which DDO do you think it is?

It is a large date 1970-S. A common date coin. You can learn about the large and small date Lincoln Cent varieties on this page: http://www.lincolncentsonline.com/l...lldates.html

The doubling you see is commonly referred to as MD (Mechanical/Machine Doubling).
It is not caused from a double image on the die, but happens during the strike.
These didn't used to have a premium, but in recent years, some collectors have started collecting them.
They can sell for a couple of dollars on ebay.

You should start a new thread for each coin or topic you have questions about, so it will be easier to sort out.

The last coin is damaged. It appears that it has been mutilated with pliers or cutters.
