That's a fattie! I think I see split serifs on the bottom left of the D? The picture isn't really sharp enough for me to make a guess, but here's a listing of repunched mint marks for 1983 D cents: http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...pe=mm&page=0

It's a tough call, the pic is not real clear. Might be a split at the lower left. Can you get a better pic?
