These coins were part of my grandfathers collection. All the rolls are marked with the dates of the coins inside. I have been told if rolls are stored improperly that it could cause them more damage than good, I am still new to collecting and would like to keep the coins in the best condition I can. what do you guys think the best option is?

I know what I would do. I would at least take them out one roll at a time and search through them for anything special (if you haven't already).

Set anything nice/valuable aside for individual holdering and either reroll the rest or you can get hard coin tubes if you're concerned about the paper.

fudd!

Yes, I would move them to the hard plastic rolls if they were mine.
Rest in Peace

If those are circulated coins it doesn't matter that much . But for BU coins ,hard clear plastic tubes are the only way to go .

Thanks for the help. I have been wanting to dive into these rolls. I think ill go with the plastic tubes for there durability and ease of access later on.
