Lately I came across this 1870 Shiplaster with cutting errorr. In the photo you can clearly see that it has a part of another note on the top of the note. So far I have not seen any example of cutting error 1870s 25 cents on the internet or in the Carlton Cat. Dose anyone know what this particular worth? Thank You!!

These originally came in small sheets so I guess a misscut like this one is not all that uncommon

These were printed in sheets of 10 and sent to banks
where they were cut apart with scissors.
The premium bills are the ones with an equal margin all around
as there are many with miscuts.
