So I have two British Pennies, a 1905 with dirt on it and a nice-shape 1907.
I found them metal detecting a while back in November of 2015.
I can't for the life of me find a website that gives grading examples of such coins. Can you guys help? And what should these two grade in Europe and in the USA?

The 1905 is dull and has some wear to it. Dirt has permanently stuck itself to it on the obverse and moderately on the reverse (cheers to anyone who knows how to remove that). It has acquired moderate chippings to the green oxidization on the rim's corner of the reverse, revealing an ugly white. I don't expect a high grading for it.

The 1907 is notably shiny with great detail and only minor wear. It has acquired whitening-rim damage on the corners as well, minor on the obverse and moderate-major to the reverse.

I'm not sure what grade to give the 1905, but I'm going to say the 1907 is a VF+ details, cleaned due to the unnaturally shiny appearance and the wear on Britannia on the reverse.

Cleaned? Welp, I'm the only one that's touched it since circa-1910, unless logic broke. Thanks anyways though!

I 'll chime in because this is fun; caveat - I'm new at this too.
I'd give the 1905 a G; fair amount of wear and low eye appeal.
The 1907 would be VF, not better for me; nice hair pattern on obverse but Britannia shows wear on the face and trident hand.
Pretty though!

They are definitely pretty pieces - fragile too! They look almost painted, which they aren't of course.
What I find most interesting is the amount of British pennies that have a comparable colour as to mine:

not too many to my surprise, but that's likely due to the amount of time it's been in the ground - presumably since 1908.
