I'm embarrassed to post this, but not so much that I won't do it.

I have several Canadian bills. I understand that some versions of the 1973 are valuable. And, the devil hides in her hair on the older ones (but probably not mine).

I certainly doubt that mine are valuable, but I've been using Google, and every time I think I'm getting a handle on it, I'll find that the bills I have do not exist.

Please take a glance at these 14 bills and verify for me that they are, in fact, worth their spending value and little else.

OK, thanks for the reply and it leads directly to what frustrated me. I did spend some time on that site before I posted.

So, I grabbed a bill at random. It is a 1973 one dollar bill, ACC2117938.

I looked up that year and denomination from your link, and I posted the results in a snip below.

Which one of the listed numbers is mine? Mine starts ACC and none on the list seem to.

I believe I'm making either a rookie mistake, an idiot mistake, or some unfortunate combination of the two, but I still do not see my bill.

There are sooo many prefixes for this series it would take just too many resources to include a complete list on their site.
If your prefix isn't listed it's because it's a face value item except in the absolutely highest grades.

Now that is something I can follow.

I had assumed it was a chart of all. It is only a chart of interesting.

I spent so much time looking at coinsandcanada and just had growing frustration.

Thanks for the clarification and help!

Coconice,

We all started learning by asking questions. No need to be embarrassed about asking questions here, as those who can answer are usually quite happy to do so. There is more knowledge on this site regarding coins/bills than there is in many public libraries.
By posting this topic, hopefully you got your answer and learned something. I also learned something new because you asked, so thanks to you and those that replied.

I hate to disappoint, all of your bills are very well circulated/not in the best of shape and they are all very common. There are no rare varieties with what you have. You would be best just to deposit them into your bank account...especially the $1 bills.

Coconice: Your ACC2117938 has a catalogue number of BC-46ai.It has a mintage of 890,320,000, and in VG condition is worth about $1.00 and @ Gem Uncirculated condition, $4.00. Pretty common note. Hope this helps.
