Mak New Member Denmark 13 Posts	Posted 02/26/2017 2:13 pm So I bought this 1928 Peace dollar the other day - turns out it has a lot of scratches/damage where the mint mark would be. Not an expert on US coins by any means, but surely I'll have to catalogue this as a 1928S? Report this Post to the Staff

This has been done many times, but seldom as badly as this. I hope you didn't pay too much for this coin. The post mint damage is severe. Report this Post to the Staff
