Doubtful. Weigh your dime and see if the weight matches 2.5 grams. From the looks of it, probably a badly environmentally damaged dime. Brown like copper cent, but just stained. May have been buried at one time.

and a Cent planchet would not fit in a dime collar. And if it were somehow cut from wrong stock it would not be copper plated it would be zinc
