I seen that the WAM pennies are frequently posted with people asking if theirs is one or not. Here's a 1999 S Wide AM I found in a set it bought the other day. Now, if it's worth anything, I haven't a clue.(I hope it is) I figured this could at least be an example piece

1999S is supposed to have the WAM. You would need to look for the CAM on the proofs.

Yep, the Close AM proofs are the valuable ones--here's some photos showing the diagnostics.

That reverse is what your looking for on the 98,99 and 2000 business strikes

I have plenty of 1999 Wide AM business strikes but have never sent one to a TPG. Still Lookin

It can be a bit confusing and even this topic meets that requirement.

If it's a 1999 proof (like the OP's) then CAM is rare. If it's a business strike then CAM is normal. Inversely, a '99 proof WAM is normal and a '99 business strike WAM is rare.

Phew! I'm not even sure that's right when I re-read it!

Edit: Maybe it's the German in me but, everytime I see " WAM" I read it as "VAM."
