I have found a 1947 nickel that has the mint mark on the back is this worth anything

In average circulated condition a US 1947-D or 1947-S Jefferson nickel is worth perhaps .25¢ to .50¢. In new, or Mint State condition, generally a couple of bucks. A nice find nonetheless. Keep looking at your change, you never know what you might run into.
