Can anyone tell me what is going on with this coin? There is what appears to be number 5 stamped on the "E" in " Liberty" and numerous other numbers and letters all over it. Any ideas on error and possible value?

Out of focus and pixelated bad when enlarging...only thing I could tell was something hit lower bar of E moving it upward and slightly to the west. Slight ding on B as well in same area

The coin seems to have suffered some damage after it was struck.
