Forgive for the poor quality of the pictures I sure haven't mastered the art of photographing these reflective coins.
I have another off colour coin this time a 1984 ten cent.
I'm having trouble getting a photo to show the lustre and colour properly but it has cartwheel lustre under the toning and the colour is steel grey with a hint of blue throughout.
The weight is 2.2 grams and it's magnetic.
Is it heat that turns a coin made of nickel to this "lustrous" grey blue colour?
Cheers, Bill
