Hi. I submitted this info a few years ago in a similar discussion, and now there seems to be some discussion going on (on that coin, not mine). The plating edges on this coin can be felt with a fingernail, and in some places are on the edge of the coin. The rear is completely silver. Yes, it is magnetic. I left it the way I got it in my pocket change. Is this a common error?

many moons ago I dipped a loonie in that coin dip stuff that dealers sell and it did exactly what your coin looks like, I then took it to a store to spend and the lady wouldnt take it cause she thought it was fake
