I was searching some bank rolls of pennies and came across this coin with the "D" offset higher than normal. Is it worth anything? The coin on the left is a normal 1970 D

Nope, normal coin. The MM's were added to each die by hand, is why placement is varied and is the cause of doubled Mintmarks...if tech thought he missed it, tried to line up and do over 1st punch.

to the family!

If you have a 10x or higher magnifier, check directly below the close D on right coin...you may see a faint outline of 2nd D.
