These old coins do not come out circulated coins they come from someone who has a pail of coins takes to a coin machine and throws them in. You can tell because they do not have much wear like 64 quarter compared to a 65 quarter which is all wore down. Mathematically there are a least one million dollars silver in circulation. Ten billion coins times silver value of .0001 equals one million dollars.

10,000.000,000.00
X
.0001
=
$1,000,000.00

Holy crap, ace_ftw!

Got any sort of breakdown of that amazing find?
CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!

pictured on the table is 1400+ silver quarters, the large stacks are piles of 20, I cannot remember what the smaller 3 stacks were. all of the coins in the large block on the left are 80% QE2 or KGVI, the 9 stacks to the right are 1967, there is one stack of 68 (50%).

I also received 2 complete rolls of silver dimes from that same teller. It was just under $400 face value of silver.

I'm glad to still hear stories like this. Few and far apart but full roll finds do happen.
I usually grab $50-100 or so in dimes and quarters when I'm out of town working in small towns. I picked up 5 rolls of each if my memory is correct. 2 full rolls of quarters and 3 rolls of dimes were silver. I was so excited, that I was starting to annoy my wife. She eased up on me when I shouted "I've found treasure!" and explained there was several hundred dollars in silver there. I went to the same bank the next day after work and got many more rolls but found no more.
I couldn't believe it. It was the best feeling finally being insanely rewarded after countless rolls with nothing to show for it but dirty finger tips. It was my greatest score ever, replacing the time I found a $100 bill in a Zellers while shopping for a new mirror with my mom as a kid.

I'm sure it's a once in a million rolls collectively searched type find. I don't expect it to happen to me again. But man, was it awesome.

In my decade of CRH and collecting ive only been privileged to two instances where I was "gifted" full rolls of silver; first was at a bank where I was handed two rolls of halves, a mixture of walkers and Franklin's, and the last was when I was at a retailer and the cashier next to the checkout stand where I was purchasing made mention to "weird dimes" and I was able to snag a roll of silver roosies (a total of 56 too!).
