there are way less 2003-2008 sacs than 2000-2001 I seen somewere that there are around 3mil-6mil in total mintage of them each in 2003-2008 and not all banks carry them because they have to make orders of 500 in a bag or more and they know that people just dont use that many so they dont order them in alot of banks.and I dont know daviscfad if the 2009 sac american natives will be released into general cerculation or not. does anyone know that question ?

The reason they could get away with minting few 2007 Sacagaweas is that Congress passed a bill authorizing the use of special reverses for the Sac coin. That bill also removed the requirement from the Presidential dollar bill that a proportional number of Sacs continued to be created (thankfully). This same bill also resulted in the need for a bill authorizing the minting of the 2008 Sacs as the 2007 bill inadvertently removed the mint's authority to make regular 2007 Sacs.

Confused yet? Welcome to the world of Congress' legislation of conflicting ambiguities.
