I used to live in Massachusetts. I enjoyed looking out my back window at the snow, but then I had to go out in it.

Now I live in Florida. We hade a below average temperature today; it was in the high 60s or low 70s depending on where you were. Some of the locals had on long sleeves and even hoodies, but not me. I enjoyed the fresh air!

Look at it this way. Given the time of year, it won't stay in the ground for long. One year when I lived in Massachusetts, the worst snow storm of the year was in April. It didn't last for long after the first bad day.

Got about 18 inches in the northwest hills of CT and my driveway is about 200 feet long... ugh.. Here's one of my favorite classics with die clashes and die cracks.

I live near Portland, Oregon. Despite our latitude (north of the 45th parallel) we don't get much snow, thanks to our altitude and proximity to the ocean.

We've had naught but a few dustings of snow here in Tennessee. I don't much miss all that shoveling I did up north. The cold, uncomfortable weather does tend to encourage the spending of more time with the coins.

Here's a winter acquisition, that's the product of two Trade dollars ... Looks to be an original photo, and the inner side is engraved, making it a combination "box dollar" and "love token."
