I just opened this set in order to grade the individual coins. There are no bag marks, nicks, scratches, hairlines, scuffs or other marks of any kind on any of the coins. However, there are scattered specks, they look like dust or something (never opened before. I would grade these coins as PF65 or above except I don't know how these tiny specks would affect the grade. Could it be natural deterioration of the metal? Comments please. Thanks

A photograph would help us. have you tried to blow off the specks with compressed air? (don't blow on it with your breath you will spot them with moisture) Also are you looking to have them professionally graded? Unless they have significant cameo the cost of grading would far exceed their value.

I have not blown off the coins yet, no compressed air. Will have to try that, thanks.

we are good Dan but not good enough to grade without pics. I lost my crystal ball a while back and have to rely on pics now a days.
