Grading 1962 Proof Set - Coin Community Forum

dan12019 New Member United States 30 Posts	Posted 03/15/2017 09:30 am I just opened this set in order to grade the individual coins. There are no bag marks, nicks, scratches, hairlines, scuffs or other marks of any kind on any of the coins. However, there are scattered specks, they look like dust or something (never opened before. I would grade these coins as PF65 or above except I don't know how these tiny specks would affect the grade. Could it be natural deterioration of the metal? Comments please. muddler Pillar of the Community United States 7191 Posts	Posted 03/15/2017 09:46 am A photograph would help us. have you tried to blow off the specks with compressed air? (don't blow on it with your breath you will spot them with moisture) Also are you looking to have them professionally graded?
