These are always worth checking out:

As Peter suggests above, CNG's eAuctions (new auction every two weeks): http://cNGCoins.com/

Agora Auctions (usually has an auction running): http://agoraauctions.com/

VAuctions (several good auctions per year, but often long gaps between them): http://vauctions.com/

Frank Robinson (he only runs about three or four auctions per year): http://fsrcoin.com/

Most of the higher end auctions (and the lower ones too) participate in the Sixbid platform, which is a great place to start if you know what specific type of coin you're after. The search function brings up that type from across all current auctions: https://www.sixbid.com/

Thanks, BobL for that link to 6bid! I was looking for a good online connection for something like that.
