Another very inexpensive big old coin, I bought this from the $2 junk world coin box because the date of 1812 seems very appropriate for a Russian coin! It is really beat up and dirty, but I am pretty sure it is a copper 2 Kopecks minted in St. Petersburg by moneyer PS? Would appreciate confirmation, as well as any additional details anyone might have to offer about it.. thanks!

Yes, that's right. PS stands for Pavel Stupitsyn, incidentally.
It's a pretty common date actually; Numista claims mintage over 50 million.

I'm actually considering collecting those things by date (I'll probably try that next time I see a lot of them in a really cheap bin).
