Out of the first three, I'd definitely say the French 5 Franc, but it's slightly (very) biased since I really don't like modern bullion. It's just never been circulating currency. The last ebay link seems all over the place, I'd honestly sta away, but that's me.

100 percent. My vote goes to the French five francs.
Rest in Peace

No fan of new releases, always overpriced

Same with new Chinese coins, pricey and always wonder is it live or is it Memorex?

Coin mix offers are always overblown a gram of gold and silver plus a 8oz Total weight, absolute max of in poundage alone would be 5 oz. ASW...TOPS, but know full well that nickel, coppers and wrappings make up majority of half pound weight so no more than 2oz ASW in small denom coins...ummm. Big risk, darn thing is, I ain't lucky.

That leaves a solid foreign silver of .725ASW, that would by my vote, don't know if I'd pull the trigger tho, to much above melt for my blood. I do buy foreign silver in this size range in other online auctions, generally w/fees all total no more than $21-22 to my door, lot less if local estate auctions. I have found those may have less coins offered but are the safest getting genuine coins, still have to beware tho...

I too vote the 5 Francs. Either way good luck on your crown-sized coin collecting! :D

Okay I'll get the 5 francs but I'll find a better grade one.
Thanks
