Bought a large group of mixed world coins the other day and as I was going through them I found a few 1958 German Democratic Republic 50 Pfennig coins from 1958 (4 of them). From the catalogue I can see that the 1958 only was minted with an "A" mint mark. 2 of the ones I found had a very distinct "A", another one was very worn but you could still make out the "A" and the fourth one I have a picture of is less worn however there is absolutely no sign of an "A" whatsoever. Does anyone know if this is a variety for this year?
