Hi everyone, I found this 1984 Lincoln Cent while coin roll hunting, and I wonder if this may be the 1984 " double ear "....Also I read in 1984 the Lincoln Cent also had a bad neck too...What do you think?
Thanks ahead of time for your input...

Nope, I don't think this is it. Here's an image of a 1984 DDO -- note how there is a full second earlobe. http://www.lincolncentresource.com/...1984ddo.html

1984 seems to be a common year for die clashes, which is why your coin has a weak neck and die abrasion lines on the obverse fields. You may see similar die abrasion on the reverse fields, especially under the memorial. If you peek in between the bays of the memorial, you may see die clash marks from Lincoln's chin or the back of his collar. In post die clash die polishing, it seems the clash marks from the Lincoln's collar and the back of his head are the hardest to remove. Or they get overlooked.

Yeah....I see that double ear....Mine sure doesn't have that, and I am guess the neck is more than likely PMD...Thanks for your help Druu!
