Another penny I found in grandfathers collection. Any opinions on having checked out or even what it is as far as is it an error and if so what kind...it would be greatly appreciated.

Cents are not clad. Cents from 1982 till now are copper plated zinc.Your coin is not an error. Looks like environmental damage and zinc rot starting.

Aww, it's a 1990. For a second, I thought it was a 1999 D and you blew my mind for a second because I noticed the WAM ( Wide AM) reverse.

I'll second John1's assessment of environmental damage and zinc rot.
