Check out this coin listed as a caeser densrius on ebay:
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/152478278008
I don't have a great knowledge of these coins but if you look at the sellers sold history it's pretty amazing how many caeser coins they've sold and for just a few hundred dollars each!

Thoughts anyone?

Sellers pictures aren't good enough for me to say. With that in mind I wouldn't take the chance.

Thanks for your reply.
I agree, it's just so tempting! I won't make a bid but it will be interesting to see how much it goes for.

This type is forged quite often, so there are a lot of fakes in the market. They have become so good that it can be difficult at times to tell the good from the bad. This coin may very well be genuine, but without better pictures as I said earlier I wouldn't take the chance.

Make him a favour, because he needs a lot of money to cover his depths.

Bad pictures. Poor English. Doesn't specialize in ancients. What could possibly go wrong?

Let's not neglect that he only does private listings so you can't tell how many real buyers he has. Also note that his stock all appears lower grade, which means it is easy to "dirty up" a slavei or other fake and scam the buyer.

Trust him? Should Red Riding Hood trust the guy with the long snout?

Rest in Peace

Not a chance that I'd bid on that.
