Just found a 1971 dime that is in much better shape than most of its brethren. Then I realized the frosting and concluded that it is probably a proof-like that got released into circulation sometime in the last decade.
Weird thing: it has small beads. Number of beads is like any other 1971 dime, checked by lining up the beads to the obverse lettering. Are these small beads for proofs only?
