So I found this in my 1997 mint set & its still in the plastic as you can tell but is it the double ear? Sorry, I have not perfected my microscope pictures yet.

Sorry, doesn't look like it to me. If you are having issues with the lighting on your scope, try blocking or partially blocking some of the light sources. A more diffuse source of light will eliminate the spots of glare.

Sometimes a hit or MD can look a lot like a doubled earlobe. This is not the DDO-001.

No, not a doubled ear, just a really good strike, all the details, crevases, lines, hair, beard curls are very distinct. You're seeing what its supposed to look like, I'm impressed!
