I was at my local shop today, and as I was leaving, an older gentleman came in with a 1924 St Gaudins graded MS64 in a pcgs holder.
He also had a 10$ 1903 gold piece MS62 (I think). That 20$ piece was sooooo beautiful, I am going to call tommorrow and see if the dealer bought it and what price he is selling it for. What is a ballpark figure I should expect. I have looked on E-bay and will look at some auction sites after work for going rates, but I would like some input from forum members also.

Heritage results indicate that you'll be doing OK (right at the market) to get it at Greysheet Ask. Remember, though, that there are a huge number of 1924's in MS64 - tens of thousands. Don't go over market. There will surely be another one.

Look closely at that '03 while you're there. There's a biiiiiig jump (double) from MS62-MS63 for that one - if you're comfortable grading gold, and you think it has a shot at 63, and you can get it for $600, jump on it.

PCGS MS64 is $1,475 according to the PCGS price guide. It's a very common date...
