I know the feeling and the frustration with finding the first DDO or DDR it took me 9 months for my first - I called it my 3 child. It was a 2011 LSC and wow was I ecstatic.
For 2006 there are 50 DDO listings - which one do you think you might have based the the die crack and chip that you mentioned? From these images I am not seeing a DDO but some are minor ones and better closeup would be needed.
Good news is that you can still use that flip. If your die crack goes all the way from the rim and touches the head then you have a "Spike Head" - these listings are on CudsOnCoins.com - This one may or may not be there and if it is not there then you can get it listed in your name :).
EDIT: Here is a link to the page just scroll down til you get to the 2006 listings and see if it is there. Good Luck!!
