I found this medal in Paris on a recent vacation. I loved the design. So I am very happy with it no matter, but I would love to learn more about it.

I was able to find some information about the engraver, Alfred Borrel. But that is all I've found so far. It may be just a generic medal, lost to history, but I would appreciate any help/pointing in the right direction.

Thanks!

Ach! Struck out... don't speak French, but it seems to indicate possibly a tennis tournament? at Luzarches. When googled it comes up as a current one? All I could figure out , sorry, maybe it's a start.

Thanks for trying. I found a few websites for that tournament too. I guess that could be it. It doesn't say anything about tennis on it, but maybe that's the only tournament that town has? It would be interesting to find out and narrow it down that way.

Also, I wrote 1886 in the title. Oops. 1876
