So I found a clear doubling on columns in this year. Haven't found any information on this. Could this be valuable or worth getting graded? It's in good condition. No point in trying to post a picture it wouldn't show up.

Pictures would help, but without pictures, I do have a few questions. Could you describe the doubling? The LMC design intentionally has doubling on four of the columns. If it's not showing up in a picture, it's possible that you're seeing a shadow or other artifact of the lighting around you. You can look for 2002 DDR listings here: http://coppercoins.com/advsearch.php There are a few, and any column doubling is a minor spur of column 6 or 7.

Fair enough guys haha I'll try and see about getting a picture of it. I saw someone said to use the macro setting on a smartphone so I'll have to try that out. The family and I are going out of town for Easter so, I'll post a picture up in a few days and I'll go check out the website. Thanks for your responses.

Okay so here is a picture of the reverse of the penny I found. What do y'all think? Is it doubled or am I crazy?!

The first bay, the last bay and the bays on each side of the statue have extra columns as part of the design. They are there to give the design a look of depth.

I saw them on column 1,5,8,12. So, what your saying is that it's designed this way. Thought I finally found myself a nice coin haha.
