Hello, what do you think about this coin?
Is it a good idea to send it to a TPG?
Sorry for the poor pics I'm not very skilled at that.

These pics aren't very good, but from what I can see, around EF-40. Not worth the cost of submission for sure.

Questionable authenticity.

@paralyse I don't think that reputable French online dealer Comptoir des Monnaies would sell fakes.

Looks like it may have been cleaned, hard to tell for sure from these photos.

I took a look again this morning after enlargement and what I thought might have been tool marks are apparently just contact marks.

Regardless, better photos would be of much assistance, particularly since the color is somewhat difficult to assess. I agree with IGE that the reverse does seem to show possible hairline scratches, but lighting glare makes it a challenge to see whether or not they are confined to the fields or cross over the design elements.

OK, I will try to post better pics soon.

@nfine The mintmark is very weak but you can see it just left of the arrowhead tip. (Zoom a little bit in if you can't see it).

I know these pictures are bad but unlike the previous ones these are done in daylight not artificial lighting. If these don't suffice then I can do scans. Please note the pics don't reveal the real color of the coin; the color is much more golden, however not bright yellow.

Please grade and tell me if it's cleaned.

XF maybe AU but the pics are not good. they make it appear the coin was polished which it may be but entirely impossible to tell for sure.
