Hope these pictures are ok. Is this a misstrike? I think it looks a little off to me.

2006-Penny-Misstrike?

2006-Penny-Misstrike?

It looks smoothed out on the right side of the obverse, and the reverse has a double border on the right and part of the "U" in United is cut off a tiny bit. Any help is appreciated as I am still learning about coins.

It was a coin roll find. I would have posted the find in that thread, but I was mainly looking to see if it was just damaged or struck that way.
Rest in Peace

Since it's even both sides is a genuine off center strike about a 4% off center. Nice in the wild find!

Is there any value to something like this, or is it too minor? I plan on keeping it either way.

Off Center both sides going in the same direction.

I am sure you could get a few bucks for it on ebay, The reverse is really noticeable & cool looking even though it is only a small percentage off.

Terrific find mail187man

Uncentered broadstrike. Not an off-center because none of the design is missing.

Thank you for the correction Condor had to look it up at

http://www.error-ref.com/?s=broad+strike

"To qualify as an uncentered broadstrike, the design must be fully present on both faces. If the design is cut off at the edge on one or both faces, it is an off-center strike."

At least it's still an error. I didn't knowingly have once before this.
