Plating bubbles it looks like. It's a zincoln 1982D Lg Date. Fingerprint on obverse...well you DID ask!

Could be a die gouge as well, have you tried the tooth pic test?

Maybe a close up of that area would help, I can't tell if it is going over the devices or under (in between) them.
If it is going over the devices then not a die gouge and most likely a plating issue like Crazyb0 mentioned.

I'm inclined to say it's a linear plating bubble. The placement may also suggest a die crack but, it seems too "soft" to be that.

Good eyes on the fingerprint, Crazyb0.

I think it may be a small date based solely on the shape of the "2". I could be wrong. I frequently am.

with coincents number 2 of the date ,indicative of small date.
