That is a Die chip tucked in between the er. 2 looks Okay maybe took a small hit on the bottom of the hook.

Yes what you have is a die chip lodged in between the E and R.

Hi cookie - no real premium for the chips. However, if you look up BIE cents you will find that there are folks interested in this type of anomaly. Die chips are part of the aging die; weaker spots are more prone to 'give up' eventually leaving these little blobs. They interest some folks and folks collect them, but no real extra value for the majority of these anomalies (not an error; not a variety).
