looks like the same variety to me. I say both are far beads.

It is very easy to differentiate the two types when you have both in hands. Just compare the distance from the rim to the beads. The ones you show are both far . They are not hard to find.I have lot of both type.

I've got the same problem with 25cent, do you know which distance is for far beads and which for near beads? It's hard for me to compare them, because I've got only 1x
