Single light source or multiple sources...you will likely need to play around to find the right combination of light and position. Your camera will take reasonably good pictures of coins. You may find circulated coins a bit easier than bright and shiny unc's or proofs. If possible, set up to take shots so your camera is supported in some way to minimize "camera shake"...also set up so the camera is as square as possible to the coin. If your camera has a White Balance setting, be sure to use the right option (fluorescent or incandescent, or flash, or daylight, etc.) to get the closest possible color rendition.
