See the excellent writings by Ronald Greene to learn more about these fascinating pieces of which there are many examples. They were NOT made to deceive. The piece shown is Greene #300 first reported in 1965. The Obverse is paired with numerous varied reverses and is known in 9 and 12 karat gold. There are many hundreds of these jewellers pieces in BC and Manitoba. Commonly found on gold stick pins and other pieces of manufactured jewellery.
