Very nice, and interesting to see a lot of Italian styling on the obverse. I'll guess the artist was originally Milanese perhaps? It does have that look.

My grandmother had one I just wish I knew who in the family has it
when I was in Vietnam she pasted and I wasn't allowed to go to her funeral.
When I got back the 1st time I was not thinking about coin or metals

Great medal! YES I collect Washingtonia and N.Y. historiana, especially Crystal Palace Exhibition material. Is this part of your collection?

Yes this piece is part of my very meager collection. Just got a catalog in the mail that is offering an example. "Medalsman" on the bay, I think has an example upcoming.
